Agree your order
Review your proposal, then contact our team to confirm subscription dates, purchasing terms and order documents. Requesting a proposal does not place an order or take payment.
01 Decide what to evaluate
Choose a practical focus for evaluation: feedback students can act on, a manageable revision routine, spelling practice or class evidence for explicit teaching. Look at the complete writing example, then bring that focus to a school demo.
Include the people who will use and support the service. A teacher can assess the classroom routine, a leader can review the school view, and your administrator or IT contact can raise access and device requirements.
If you want a trial or pilot, ask our team to agree its availability, participants, dates, support and data arrangements before students begin. No trial duration or automatic trial entitlement is promised by this guide.
- Choose the year levels and writing genres you want to inspect.
- Look at original writing, criterion feedback and a student revision together.
- Agree what useful evidence would look like: participation, use of feedback and teacher review of the writing.
- Set a review point and record task conditions before interpreting a score change.
- See the complete writing example
- Understand assessment and evidence
- Questions to ask any AI marking tool
02 Prepare your school’s review
Start your privacy review with the full privacy policy and service-provider table. They explain student information handling, school-managed sign-in, AI processing and the separate arrangements for supporting services.
Confirm the school roles that need access, the features you intend to use and the notices and permissions your school needs. Discuss any requirements for records, export, deletion or assurance material directly with our team.
For a system or network, contact us with your organisation, participating schools and intended rollout. You can start by email without selecting a school in the demo form. Avoid including student records in an initial enquiry.
- Share the privacy policy, provider information and terms with the appropriate school reviewer.
- Check devices, sign-in and accessibility needs before agreeing a rollout.
- Confirm who approves the order, who receives invoices and whether a purchase order is required.
- Ask about any usage conditions or additional requirements that must be recorded in the agreement.
03 Review the proposal and confirm your order
Use the pricing page to find your school, select year levels and check enrolments. Public enrolment data is a starting point; confirm that the numbers reflect your intended participants.
Choose Send me a quote and proposal, then enter your name, role and work email. We’ll email a fixed quote and a proposal you can share with your team.
Check the proposal’s scope, amount, GST treatment and validity date with your team. When you are ready to proceed, contact Writing Boost to confirm the subscription dates, invoice recipient, payment arrangements and any purchase-order documents.
The accepted written proposal or service agreement records your school’s arrangements. Confirm renewal, cancellation, mid-year enrolment changes and any usage limits before ordering. A saved proposal or download is not an order and does not authorise a charge.
04 Start in the classroom
Start with a clear learning focus, the right school access and time for students to use their feedback. Guided onboarding is included in the school plan.
Agree your school contact, participating classes and account arrangements. Check the first task on the devices your students will use, then leave time for feedback and revision in the lesson.
- Name your school lead and teaching contact.
- Confirm accounts, sign-in and class access.
- Plan one complete writing and feedback cycle.
- Agree a review point with the team.
